Get ready for the season premiere of Doctor Who with Jodie Whittaker as the new Doctor Who–and she’s a woman too!
In this time of the #MeToo movement, women are asserting their rights. The right to own their bodies. The right to live life the way they want to, and not what patriarchy dictates. The first female doctor is just what the world needs right now!
The uproar from men across the globe at the prospect of a female doctor proves the world has a long way to go to accept women as equal beings.

I wish Jodie all the best as she takes on this iconic role. Her success can pave the way for future Doctors who represent other types of human expressions, other than only being a white male. And yes, I know the Doctor is from Gallifrey, but what a fallacy to think the universe only caters and represents white men!
Check back each week after the season premiere for Kbear’s weekly recaps of Doctor Who. It promises to be a trailblazing and exciting season. And Kbear is here for it!
