Castle Point Anime Convention 2020
May 2 @ 7:00 am - May 3 @ 5:00 pm PDT
The members of the Stevens Anime Club are proud to present the thirteenth annual Castle Point Anime Convention! This will be our third year at the Meadowlands Expo Center and Holiday Inn Meadowlands, after being at Stevens Institute of Technology for 10 years. As usual, we will be hosting a variety of exciting events such as anime showings, game tournaments, artist alley, and informative panels. Our move from the Stevens campus to Secaucus will allow for larger guest stages, larger exhibition areas, parking for all attendees, and much more fun! In addition, our hours of operation will be of a full two-day convention. Come and experience anime and Japanese culture and have a fun-filled weekend!
Before April 1st: Single day $25 | 2 – Day $35
After April 1st/At-Door: Single day $35 | 2 – Day $50
Convention Hours: Saturday 10 AM to 10 PM, Sunday 10 AM to 8 PM.
Registration Box Office Opens at 9:30 AM both days. Early badge pick-up will be available on May 1st, from 4 to 8 PM.
What is your refund policy?
Refund Policy: CPAC offers refunds for tickets up to 30 days before the event through the EventBrite website. After that, no refunds will be offered for any reason, including at the door and after the convention, regardless of weather, changes or cancellations in programming, or whether you ended up attending. Remember our guest lineup and programming schedule is subject to change at any time. Check out our website for the latest information: https://www.castlepointanime.com.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Children under the age of 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 8 can pick up a complimentary badge at registration.
We generally do not check ID, but we might in certain cases. Please bring some form of photo ID with you to the event. (It’s also just a good idea to carry ID in case of an emergency!)
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking at the Exposition Center will be free to all attendees.
Direct Bus From NYC: From the New York Port Authority take Bus #320 to Meadowlands: Harmon Meadow.
Direct Bus From Hoboken: From the Hoboken Bus Terminal take Bus #85 to Meadowlands: Harmon Meadow.
Hudson-Bergen Light Rail: The closest stop is Tonnelle Avenue, which is 1.5 miles from the convention center.

This map shows all the routes that lead to Secaucus by rail. The train station titled “Meadowlands” does NOT take you to the exhibition center, please get off at Tonnelle Ave or Secaucus Junction.
What can/can’t I bring to the event?
CPAC has a very strict policy on weapons, implemented for the safety of our attendees and volunteers. See our weapons policy for the full details.
For more information, check out our official policies.
What should I bring to the event?
At a minimum, you should bring the following items to the event:
1. Your tickets, either printed out or on your phone via the EventBrite app.
2. Some form of photo identification (we usually do not check ID, but might do so in certain cases; it’s also a good idea to carry ID while at the event in case of an emergency).
3. A plan for food, water, and sleep! Consider bringing a bag with a water bottle and snacks.
4. Any medication or other health supplies that you may need.
Attention! Please remember the big four: 3 meals, 8 hours of sleep, 1 shower, and lots of water!
Nothing ruins the convention experience when you can’t meet your favorite guest because you passed out from heat exhaustion or dehydration (it happens!). There will be water and food available throughout the convention, but everyone’s situation is different. Make sure you have a plan on when you will eat, where you will shower and sleep, and where you’ll be storing water.
